Glass Window Bridge
At the narrowest point of the island, a window-like rock formation
spans a gap where the turbulent waters of the Atlantic Ocean
meet the calmer seas of the Caribbean. The existing man-made
structure replaced a naturally-formed bridge that was blown
away during a hurricane years ago, but the view is still spectacular.
Hatchet Bay Cave
Once a haven for pirates, the magnificent Cave at Hatchet Bay
dazzles visitors with stalagmites and stalactites that gleam

of the first Christian service ever held in the Bahamas.
Spanish Wells
An ever-popular day trip destination, Spanish Wells is just
a short ferry ride from Eleuthera. It is here sailors came ashore
from Spanish galleons to fill their casks with fresh water after

known for their outstanding seamanship, are direct descendants
of the Eleutheran Adventurers. There is excellent fishing and
diving available, even a sunken train wreck for those seeking
the unusual.
